Sarah Lynch
Developmental Psychologist
Dr. Lynch received her PhD in Developmental Science from Boston University, where her research focused on children with disruptive behavior patterns and how parent-child relationships, attachment, and daily interactions shape early development. Her work emphasized how everyday routines, caregiver responses, and environmental structure influence children’s behavior over time.
She currently teaches at Harvard University, where she leads courses in developmental psychology, child development, and psychopathology.
In addition to her academic background, Dr. Lynch brings over a decade of experience working directly with families. She has worked with children in a range of settings, including group homes and private households as a career nanny, supporting children with diverse behavioral needs, temperaments, and sleep challenges. This experience informs her practical approach to managing day-to-day routines and behavior.
Dr. Lynch emphasizes developing realistic, evidence-based approaches to sleep and routines that support both children and caregivers.
